Call for Submissions

The Self-Educating Poets Network is accepting submissions of poetry and other literary work. Please send 1-5 poems or a maximum of 10 pages to selfeducatingpoetsnetwork@gmail.com. The file must be a Word doc through Google Drive or an email attachment in Word doc format. You may also use the body of an email to submit your work.

Note: You have the option of submitting a YouTube video of the work instead or in addition to the text.

All submissions should Include your bio and optional headshot/photograph of you. The deadline to submit is Sunday, January 18th, 2026.

We tend to publish poetry with compassion and tenderness toward humanity. Poems that depict violence or stereotypes to further power and domination will NOT be accepted. Political poems are rarely accepted unless done well through the vantage point of the speaker. Lived experience/personal stories/philosophies are highly valued.
