Bird on a Wire

A bird flew across the yard, landed on a telephone wire and perched there.  It sang enthusiastically when you passed by and followed you with its head as you walked on, ignoring it.  The bird stopped singing and flapped off into the woods.

“What are you doing?” he asked.  “Nothing,” she replied.  “I'll bet you are,” he said under his breath.
